PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply shorten a finish processing time, to reduce a manufacturing cost and also to prevent an adverse effect on the body of a worker, by an extremely simple method. SOLUTION: Surface finishing of a wood board material comprises a process (162) of applying a radiation curing coating (160) on the surface of the wood board material 100, a process (164) of providing a radiation-resistant film 22 from above a coating film of the radiation curing coating, a process (166) of adhering the radiation-resistant film to the wood board material while pressure-welding the material provided with the radiation-resistant film, by a roll coater method, and a process (168) of curing the radiation curing coating by exposing the surface of the material provided with the radiation-resistant film to a radiation. According to this solution, various finish coating processes are dispensed with and the finish processing time is sharply shortened by the extremely simple constitution. Besides, it is possible to bring about neither polishing waste nor coating particles in processing and to excellently maintain a working environment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
