PHOTOGRAPHING DEVICE WITH TARGET OBJECT ENHANCEMENT FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein photographing may be unsuccessful because a target object on a viewfinder is lost in many cases, when a photographer should operate a photographing device so as to follow the target object on the viewfinder during photographing by the photographing device such as a video camera. SOLUTION: The photographing device comprises a target object discriminating circuit for discriminating a target object from video signals to output a discrimination signal and a target object enhancement circuit for performing enhancement processing so as to ensure easy target object recognition. According to the output of the target object discriminating circuit, the enhancement processing for easy target object recognition is conducted on a target object video image portion only for video signals outputted on a viewfinder.
