PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a spattered waste accompanying with an welding by eliminating an welding process when a pivotally supporting part of an upper shutter member is assembled, in a disk cartridge constituted of an upper shutter member rotatably supported with an upper shell and a lower shutter member rotatably supported with a lower shell, while providing a rotary shutter to open/close an opening part for making a recording/reproducing head access to a surface of the disk. SOLUTION: A shaft cylinder 3a with the small diameter on the pivotally supporting part on the upper shutter member 7U is formed with an aluminum alloy, and the fall-off preventive treatment for a tip part of this shaft cylinder 3a is applied by a calking work.
