PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data analysis method for extracting attribute data from geographic information data based on observed data, preparing data for geographic information analysis from the attribute data and the observed data, analyzing the data for geographic information analysis, and introducing the inclination of the occurrence of events. SOLUTION: This data analysis device is provided with a database 110 for storing geographic information data associated with certain geography, a database 120 for storing observed data including position data in the geography and event data indicating events generated at the position in a chart format and a data processing part 130 for preparing data for geographic information analysis based on the geographic information data and the observed data. Then, the attribute data indicating characteristics in geography are extracted from the database 110, and the attribute data and degree display data indicating degrees pertinent to the characteristics are added to the observed data so that data for geographic information analysis can be prepared and analyzed.
