PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve uniformity of air intake and/or air exhaust of a gripper, and, thereby, to increase positive performance of a doffer. SOLUTION: The textile machinery has a parallelly positioned spinning part or a winding part and has a doffer, especially a doffer frame 2, extended along the spinning part or the winding part. The doffer has grippers 4 set corresponding to each spinning part or winding part. The grippers 4 have flexible and/or elastic diaphragms 6 set around each wound pipe opening 5 and loadable by pressurized gas. The diaphragms 6 cramp and simultaneously hold a filled pipe or a vacant pipe inserted to the wound pipe opening 5 so as to fix when pressured and release a wound pipe when pressure discharged. Each pressure chamber 7 set corresponding to the diaphragms 6 and connectable with a pressure source 3 through an air pipe 8 has multiple air systems of air supply/exhaust and/or the doffer frame 2.
