PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poison bait for exterminating termites having no repelling property even in an insecticidally active concentration in which an insecticidally active ingredient used has good efficiency and exhibiting adequate slow-acting property for destroying swarm (nest) of termites in a short period. SOLUTION: This poison bait for exterminating termites is obtained by impregnating N-(2-chloro-3,5-bis-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N'-(2,6-difluorobenzoyl)urea (general name: bistrifluron) in a state dissolved in (CH<SB>3</SB>)CHOCH<SB>3</SB>(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>2</SB>or H<SB>3</SB>COOH(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>COOCH<SB>3</SB>(wherein (n) is 1-4) into a cellulosic substrate to be retained so that the bistrifluron is contained in an amount of≥10 weight ppm as an active ingredient.
