PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool by which an inherent joint movable range is greatly moved in order to eliminate the reduction of an exercising ability accompanying the reduction of movable ranges of the leg joint due to insufficient exercise or lack of exercise or troubles, and also, by which exercises can be practiced under a state wherein the prevention of over-stretching of the joint at the time of exercise is taken into consideration. SOLUTION: This sandal for stretching is made of a hard material which does not deform by the loading of a body weight, and has a recess at a location slightly forward from the foot ground contact surface. Also the sandal for stretching has a semi-cylindrical protruding part on the bottom surface. The sandal has a shape just like a seesaw of which the ground contact point of the protruding part with a floor surface is used as a fulcrum, and for which an angle connecting the protruding part and the toe, and an angle connecting the protruding part and the heel are respectively set in such a manner that the sandal may not become unstable by exceeding the movable range of the foot joint by changing the lengths or the heights.
