PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel enabling easy attachment and detachment of a handle knob with a simple structure and provided with a handle having a hardly separable oiling cap. SOLUTION: This reel for fishing is provided with the handle 10 rotatably and securely supporting the handle knob 15 for gripping with one palm and having the oiling cap 20. The handle 10 is connected to a wind-drive mechanism of the reel body. The oiling cap 20 fits in the opening of the handle knob 15 to close the opening. An elastic member 21 is placed between the oiling cap 20 and the handle knob 15 to hold the oiling cap 20 in the handle knob 15 by the elastic frictional force of the elastic member.
