Sliding collar (1) comprises a tooth arrangement (2) on a metal strip (3) and a selector fork guide. The sliding collar is formed with the selector fork guide and the tooth arrangement in one piece from the metal strip and has a U-shaped cross-section. An annular groove opening radially outward is laterally defined by two rims (4a) of the annular metal strip, which is curved about an axis of rotation (1a). The two rims lie opposite each other in the longitudinal direction of the axis of rotation and protrude radially outward from the axis of rotation. Preferred Features: The annular groove is laterally defined by two parallel flanks of the rims.
