PURPOSE: A circular knitting machine for double-face velour containing a knitting cam capable of being disposed in two steps to create a pattern of an oblique line and an actuation cam being actuated with a sinker cam to provide high visibility to a knitted fabric and control the degree of a forward movement of the sinker to a needle is provided. It permits the operation of the operational location of the actuation cam from the outside due to a desired pattern and thus remarkably reduces working time and trouble and maximized production efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The circular knitting machine for double-face velour mainly comprises: a needle(5,5'); sinker(4); a knitting cam(6) for operating the needle and sinker; and a sinker cam mounted on a circular sinker ring(7). In the circular knitting machine, the sinker contains a butt except for a main sinker butt(4a), the knitting cam is disposed on a needle cam box(6). The sinker is moved back and forth in cooperation with an actuation cam equipped with the sinker ring together with the sinker cam. The actuation cam is combined with a unit of an actuation cam assembly by an upper plate with three actuation fastening holes and an intermediate plate.
