A socket member is constituted by a double contact spring comprising two h-shaped contact springs 4 arranged face-to-face, the part 4<SP>1</SP> forming a soldering tag and the limbs of each spring 4 being widened slightly at their ends and formed with bent-back portions 6, 6<SP>1</SP> and two flat strengthening clips 5 associated with the springs 4. The clips 5 are of the same basic shape as the springs 4 and their limbs have shaped ends which engage the portions 6, 6<SP>1</SP>, as shown in Fig. 5, the assembly of clips and springs being secured together by spot-welding tags 5<SP>1</SP> formed on the clips. |
