A micro-adjustable tool chuck

The spindle adaptor (1) and the tool holding chuck cylinder (2) are coupled by an outer sleeve (12). The sleeve has female threads of forward and reverse threads respectively in upper and lower halves respectively engaged in the male threads of adaptor and chuck cylinder so that they move towards and away from each other. Splined key spigot (8) axially movably connect the adaptor (1) and chuck (2). The adaptor has a taper shank to engage the drive spindle. An independent claim is also included for multi-spindle computerized numerical control machine.
