MICROWAVE OVEN AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A microwave oven and a control method of the same are provided to allow a user to freely reset function buttons fixed to functions of the microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a memory part(30) storing a plurality of functions of the microwave oven in advance; a button executing the specific functions of the microwave oven when pushed; a display part(40) displaying a screen for user to select the functions of the microwave oven to be set to the button; and a control part(20) setting the selected functions of the microwave oven correspondingly with the button so that the functions of the microwave oven selected through the display part is executed when the button is pushed. A method includes the steps of: a step checking whether the functions of the microwave oven corresponding with the button is set when the button is pushed; a step displaying the screen for the user to select the functions of the microwave oven the user desires for the button if the functions of the microwave oven are not set; a determining step whether the functions of the microwave oven are set through the screen; a step setting the selected functions of the microwave oven correspondingly with the button when the functions of the microwave oven are set; and a step deleting or executing the functions of the microwave oven corresponding with the button based on time in which the button is continuously pushed when the functions of the microwave oven are set.
