PURPOSE: A method for controlling a printing work order and a printing system for the same are provided to efficiently perform printing work by using the first scheduling rule for starting an interpreter and the second scheduling rule for progressing the interpreter. CONSTITUTION: A communication interface(21) includes a network card having an intrinsic MAC(Media Access Control) address, and undertakes communication between client computer and a network printer through network. The first storage(22) stores more than two interpreters. The second storage(23) is equipped with an OS(Operating System) work area for a print OS, the work area for the interpreters, and a heap area for each interpreter. A printing controller(24) controls overall operation of the printer by accessing the printer OS stored in the first storage, generates bitmap data by interpreting printing work data transmitted from the client computers through the interpreter, and transmits the bitmap data to a printer engine(26). A printing work scheduler(25) controls the second storage and the printing controller based on the first and the second scheduling rule.
