The sensors (211d-211g) are formed on the upper and lower portions of the heat resistor (211a). A quantizer quantizes the signal corresponding to difference in temperature of fluid flow measured by the sensors. Based on quantized output, the gaseous fluid flow is measured. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Flowmeter; (b) Internal combustion engine; (c) Air-flow measuring method.
