Passenger detection system and detection method

摘要

A switch selects an antenna electrode from several electrodes (4a,4b) arranged at seat (1). A detector generates an electric field around the selected electrode and obtains information related to current flowing in electrode. A controller judges passenger seating conditions upon reception of signal data from the detection circuit. A controller maintains a constant amplitude of forward signal. An independent claim is also included for passenger detection method.
