摘要

A monitoring unit determines the commencement of water through a water supply pipe of at least one water device e.g. sink, conclusion of water flow and flow duration. A processing unit calculates the cost for usage of water, by multiplying the flow duration accumulated in a preset time period with water cost per unit of flow duration.
