PURPOSE: A low air pressure switch is provided to achieve improved water tightness and durability of the switch contact and prevent a corrosion of the switch. CONSTITUTION: A low air pressure switch comprises a switch body(10) connected to an air pipe through an air outlet; a diaphragm(11) which expands or contracts in accordance with an air pressure; a plunger(13) which moves in accordance with the movement of the diaphragm and forms an on/off contact with a contact plate(12); a spring(14) for elastically supporting the plunger; a switch cover(15) which accommodates the diaphragm, the contact plate, the plunger, and the spring, wherein the switch cover is assembled to the switch body; a terminal assembly(17) connected to the rear end of the switch cover through a wiring(18); an air vent block(19) for applying power to the contact plate; and water proof rubber cap(23) integrally coupled to the terminal assembly and coupled to the circumferential surface of the switch cover.
