<p>The half-tone bit-map is partitioned into N-pixel compression cells with respective pixel count, which are associated with N-pixel decompression cells with associated fill order pattern of fill order values lying between 0 and N-1, that are based on half-tone threshold values for corresponding pixels of associated compression cell. Pixels of decompressed bit-map are written using pixel counts and fill order patterns. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method for decompressing a compressed bit-map; (2) method of writing data in a bit-map; and (3) method for writing a decompressed bit-map.</p> |
