<p>The method involves receiving a sensor stimulus and analyzing the stimulus to determine a pattern of events within the sensor stimulus. A secondary sensor stimulus generated by a user interface is synchronized with the pattern of the events. The sensor stimulus is an audio signal, which is received from a microphone attached to a computer system (100).
