FIELD: oil extracting industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes influencing the extraction area of layer by means of alternating impulses of pressure and discharging. Pressure from extraction area is dumped into previously mounted in the well and steam-blown tubing column, provided with impulse generator. Impulse generator includes packer, valve for connecting ring-shaped intertubular space with well extraction area, and valve for connecting extraction area with the inside of tubing column. Ring-shaped intertubular space is separated from extraction area by packer of impulse generator. Discharge impulses are performed by dumping pressure from extraction area into tubing column. Tubing column is displaced downwards for closing the valve, connecting ring-shaped intertubular space with well extraction area, and then opening the valve, connecting extraction area with the inside of tubing column. Pressure impulses onto extraction area from fluid-filled ring-shaped intertubular space are performed by upward displacement of tubing column for closing the valve, connecting extraction area with the inside of tubing column, and then opening the valve, connecting ring-shaped intertubular space with well extraction area.
