FIELD: cleaning units of vacuum cleaners. SUBSTANCE: cleaning unit includes housing rotatably mounted in lower part and provided with shaft rotating member, fabric brush for floor and case where motor for rotation of rotating member is located. First bush projecting from inner lower surface of housing is made in form of cylinder where shaft of rotating member is mounted. Second bush projecting from inner lower surface of case is also made in form of cylinder whose cavity is communicated with cavity of first bush. Cleaning unit is provided with guard to exclude penetration of dust inside first bush which is made in form of cylinder projecting from lower surface of housing along circumference of first bush. According to one version, cleaning unit is provided with circular member projecting from inner circumference of upper part of first bush towards external side surface of shaft of rotating member to exclude penetration of dust inside case. Cleaning unit may be provided with guard made in form cylinder projecting from lower surface of housing along circumference of first bush to exclude penetration of dust inside first bush and circular member projecting from inner circumference of upper part of first bush towards external side surface of shaft of rotating member to exclude penetration of dust inside case.
