SUBSTANCE: method for foundation protection by freezing control of soil around foundation involves induced local freezing of soil surrounding foundation within the limits of frosting-defrosting soil layer depth when steady-state negative temperatures of ambient air appears; providing freezing speed exceeding speed of moisture transference to freezing front; cooling-down freezing soil area up to temperature of -3 - -5o C; maintaining the soil frozen condition up to approach of positive daily mean ambient air temperature.
