FIELD: rolled stock and tube production, namely helical accumulators for strips, possibly used in continuous aggregates for working rolled strips. SUBSTANCE: helical accumulator includes outer roller guide, horizontal table for outer and inner turns of accumulated metal. On said table are arranged: idle horizontal rollers, rotation drive of table, guiding and discharging rollers, inner stationary guide with vertical idle rollers, discharging inclined roller guide and stripping off roller. Between vertical idle rollers of inner stationary guide there are rails in which slides are mounted with possibility of vertical motion. Limiters adjusted by height and engaging with edge of strip discharged from accumulator at releasing tension are mounted in said slides. Each limiter is mounted at level higher than previous limiter by predetermined value. Additional vertical idle rollers are mounted inside stationary roller guide. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of accumulator for narrow strip having improved mechanical properties. 9 dwg
