The invention relates to a method for producing a gas diffusion electrode containing carbon fibers, carbon black and polytetrafluoroethylene. According to said method, a dispersion of carbon fibers, carbon black, PTFE and at least one liquid is produced, said dispersion is used to form a gas diffusion electrode material, and the gas diffusion electrode material is dried and then compressed. The invention also relates to a gas diffusion electrode characterised by a particular homogeneity, and membrane electrode units and polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells comprising at least one inventive gas diffusion electrode. |
