PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally friendly method for culturing swellfish without sterilizing the swellfish and, in its turn, without causing environmental pollution. SOLUTION: This method for culturing swellfish is characterized by invovling feeding the swellfish with a feed containing swellfish poison(s). In an favorable embodiment of this method, the swellfish poison is characterized in being at least one kind selected from tetrodotoxin(TTX), oxoTTX, deoxyTTX, 6- epiTTX, norTTX-6-ol, and 4-epimer and 4,9-anhydroform thereof respectively. |
