PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reserve a display area for a display menu required for other information processing while a required content is displayed for a display menu for multi-function peripheral equipment control in the case of executing other information processing on a computer while controlling a multi-function peripheral equipment. SOLUTION: A smaller mini-counter menu 175 is displayed by clicking a reduction icon button 172 on a counter menu 165 indicating a facsimile reception waiting state to await the reception and other display areas are used for other information processing. Furthermore, a reduction icon button 172 of the mini- counter menu 175 is clicked to display a smaller micro counter menu 180 to await the reception and other display areas are used for other information processing. Moreover, only a basic menu is left by deleting a status display menu or the counter menu 165 for facsimile transmission reception when they are not needed. |
