PURPOSE: To provide the device which never spoils the musical atmosphere of original music even when notes of music including, for example, a triplet are rearranged. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 5 when constituting a different melody by rearranging data on plural notes constituting a melody in every measure transfers melody data stored in a data ROM 9 to a melody data area 8m of a work RAM 8, stores the data on the nodes in one measure in a temporary storage area 8b of the work RAM 8 as pitch data on the respective divided notes and data on the number of the divisions, and then hold the data on the number of the divisions as they are and converts all the pitch data on the divided notes into one pitch data of another note replacing the divided notes. Therefore, the form of the divided notes of the original music is maintained even after the conversion. |
