HYDROGEN GENERATING DEVICE WITH SUPERIOR VAPORIZATION PERFORMANCE AND HIGH THERMAL EFFICIENCY AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are hydrogen generating device with superior vaporization performance and high thermal efficiency to generate hydrogen by reacting a compound including carbon and hydrogen to produce reformed gas, and a fuel cell system using the same to generate power. CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen generating device comprises a burner(3) for generating combustible gas; a gas reforming means(26) for forming reformed gas containing hydrogen from the combustible gas; inner chamber(10) around the burner(3) and outer chamber(9) enclosing the inner chamber(10); and bottom plate to close lower part of cylindrical space defined by both of the inner chamber(10) and the outer chamber(9). The device further has a vaporizer(32) for introducing water vapor into the gas reforming means(26) and water-absorptive materials(33,34,35) placed in the cylindrical space.
