PURPOSE: Provided is a sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus being realized in compact size and capable of purifying sewage and wastewater at low installment cost with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a circulation tank (30) with a circulation passage (50) at the center thereof and a plurality of vent holes at an upper end portion thereof, which is connected to a discharge pipe (80) at a side thereof, a micro air bubble generation apparatus (40) for supplying micro air bubbles to the circulation passage (50) through a micro air bubble supply pipe (42) connected to the circulation passage (50), a contact filtration device (60) installed around the circulation passage (50), and an inlet pipe (20) extending through the circulation tank (30) and having a plurality of holes at an end which contacts the contact filtration device (60), wherein the contact filtration device is an unwoven fabric and has a filter.
