PURPOSE: A trial operation plan display method of a large engine for a ship is provided to flexibly cope with an order and easily make plans for production by simulating kinds and amounts of engines to be produced for the specific period for optimal assembling and arrangement. CONSTITUTION: Rows are divided for each test bed, and columns are divided for each month. The occupation period of the test bed and information on an engine are displayed on cells. A month is subdivided into sections every five days, and plural horizontal lines(14) are formed to indicate the size of the test bed and distinguish the test bed. With the horizontal lines, information on the engine or the occupation period of the test bed is displayed by rectangular boxes and characters. The size of the engine is displayed with the vertical line of the rectangular box, and the occupation period of the test bed is displayed with the horizontal line of the rectangular box. A reversible color horizontal bar is displayed in the rectangular box to indicate delivery of the engine, and ship names, numbers and engine kinds are displayed with characters. A power display block is displayed to indicate information on the power system, and the disassembling period of the engine block is displayed with the rectangular box with the dotted line.
