PURPOSE: A security system of an elevator is provided to improve the security of the elevator by simultaneously providing operation information and image information of the elevator. CONSTITUTION: At least one elevator(100) lifts up along a path of a building. An elevator controller(200) controls the elevator(100). A monitoring camera(300) takes a photograph of an image inside the elevator(100). A communication-image interface(400) provides new image information including elevator operation information provided from the elevator controller(200) and the image information provided from the monitoring camera(300). A signal transmitter provides the operation information provided from the elevator controller(200) and the image information provided from the monitoring camera(300) to the communication-image interface(400). A recorder(600) distributes the composite image information provided from the communication-image interface(400) to each of monitors(610) and record the composite image information.
