APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR FORMING ROLL MATTRESS USEFUL IN AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE: Apparatus and process for formation of roll mattress for automobile are provided to enhance productivity and to accurately control temperature by applying pressure to joint the roll mattress to the automobile. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a lower panel(30) heated by a heater(32); a die(50) having a slip protection protrusion of a pad(42) and attached to top portion of the lower panel(30) and for forming an outlet(52) useful for smooth air-exhaustion; and a plate(60) having a spherical part(62) corresponding to sides of the pad(42) and forming the side. The process comprises cutting a carpet(44) and a rubber crude paper(42) then locating the carpet(44) inside the plate(60); heating the lower panel(30) at 180-250 deg.C then recovering by means of press(100); and jointing the rubber paper(42) and the carpet(44) by pressing both at a pressure of 80-150 kg/cm¬2.
