PURPOSE: An address sub-sampling device and a method therefor, an image sensor, and a method for address sub-sampling of an image sensor are provided to realize a sub-sampling mode in real time. CONSTITUTION: A counting element(10) outputs binary addresses of N bits. An address converter(12) sub-samples the binary address for outputting the sub-sampled address. The address converter converts the binary address into the sub-sampled address where a first bit group, a second bit group, and a third bit group are orderly arranged from the highest bit. The first bit group corresponding to combination of ciphers of the address to be sub-sampled is set as '0'. The second bit group including the lowest bit is matched with the bits transmitted from the counting element. The third bit group including the highest bit shifts the rest of addresses subtracted the addresses as many as the bit number of the first bit group from the highest bit.
