摘要 PURPOSE: A peaking preventing circuit is provided to prevent a peaking phenomenon caused due to the overheat of a transistor upon occurrence of short brake of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A peaking preventing circuit comprises a transistor(Q13) having a current path connected between a first power voltage(VCC) and a second power voltage(VSS), and which responses to the signal output from a short brake signal generating unit(10); a plurality of transistor protection resistors(R1 to R4) connected to the peripheral current path of the transistor; a first transistor(Q10) and a second transistor(Q7) constituted by a current mirror; a third transistor(Q1) having a current path connected between the first power voltage and a first node(Nd1), and which responses to the output signal of the second transistor; an inverse diode(D1) for connecting the collector terminal and emitter terminal of the third transistor; a fourth transistor(Q4) having a current path connected between the first node and the second power voltage, and which responses to a brake signal; an inverse diode(D4) for connecting the collector terminal and emitter terminal of the fourth transistor; a fifth transistor(Q20) having a current path connected between the first node and a predetermined brake output terminal, and which responses to a reference voltage; a forward diode(D10) connected between the first node and the emitter terminal of the fifth transistor; and a first load(25) connected between the first node and a fourth node(Nd4).
