PURPOSE: A system and a method for the Internet auction are provided to make a user buy a bidding article before the closure of the auction and compensate the difference between the bidding price and the paid article price after fixing the bidding price. CONSTITUTION: The Internet auction system comprises an auction DB(120), an auction system(110) linking with the DB, an auction operation server(100) including the DB and the auction system and providing the wire/wireless communication environment, and a bank BMS for confirming the reception of the transfer from a winning bidder by linking with the auction system. A PG server(300) of an electronic payment cooperating company provides a payment service through a payment tool by linking with the auction operation server. The auction DB(120) stores and manages the member information, the auction registration information, the bidding information, the auction management code information, the delivery information, the instant purchase information, the price payment information and so on.
