CONDENSING CLOTHES DRIER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A condensing clothes drier and a control method thereof are provided to prevent energy loss from operation of a cooling fan in actuating early by driving the cooling fan independently of a drum or a circulating fan, and to control operation variously by regulating speed of the cooling fan. CONSTITUTION: A clothes drier comprises a drum(11) rotated and installed in a body(10); a motor(17) rotating the drum; a condenser(13) condensing hot and wet air discharged from the drum; a circulating duct(14) connecting the front and the back of the drum to the condenser, and forming the circulation passage of air; a heater installed in the circulating duct to heat circulation air; a circulating fan(16) installed in the circulating duct to forcibly circulate air through the circulating duct and connected to the motor; a cooling fan(20) installed in the condenser to suck and pass external air through the condenser; and a cooling fan driving motor(21) driving the motor individually.
