PURPOSE: A fixing device of a gas shock absorber is provided to fix or release the gas shock absorber with simple operations without packing and carrying the gas shock absorber tied with a packing strap and assembling the gas shock absorber due to repulsive power having longitudinally extending properties and to easily assemble and maintain. CONSTITUTION: In a gas shock absorber having outer and inner pipes and a piston rod, a fixing device of the gas shock absorber mounted through a connecting hole of the outer pipe fixes or releases the gas shock absorber by inserting or removing a stopper(22) of the fixing device to a hanging sill(12-1) of the inner pipe. The fixing device comprises a housing(21); the stopper having a press unit(22-1) protruded out of the housing to function as a button, a hanging hook(22-2) inserted into the hanging sill and fixed, and a spring contact unit(22-3) surface-contacting to a spring(23) and fixing the spring; and the spring for moving the stopper left and right in the housing. The stopper is embedded in the housing.
