PURPOSE: A shadow mask is provided to achieve improved durability of cathode ray tube by effectively absorbing the vibration or impact applied from an external source. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask comprises an aperture portion having a plurality of slots for selectively passing electron beams; a non-aperture portion disposed at the edge of the aperture portion so as to prevent passage of electron beams; and a skirt portion bent at the end of the non-aperture portion and extended into a predetermined width, wherein the skirt portion has a surface where a zigzag bead(21) having a predetermined width is formed. The zigzag bead has a square convex-concave shape, a slow curved shape, a triangle shape, or a trapezoidal shape.
