PURPOSE: An oscillation restraining apparatus of a CDMA radio relay system is provided to restrain an oscillation phenomenon generated caused by a mutual feedback signal between a donor antenna and a coverage antenna. CONSTITUTION: A forward signal radiated from a base station is transmitted to a terminal through a reception antenna(200), a forward/backward direction separator 1(210), a forward relay processor(220), a directional coupler(300), a forward/backward direction separator 2(230) and a transmission antenna(240). A signal extracted from the directional coupler(300) is converted to be detected as a voltage value, and if this value is determined to cause oscillation upon comparison by a controller(260), the controller(260) controls a forward signal attenuator(320) and a backward signal attenuator(330) to have a suitable value until the controller(260) determines that oscillation does not occur.
