The magnetic compensator comprises a magnetic cylinder head fixed in the body of the pump and at least one compensating permanent magnet fixed in the magnetic impeller rotor. Internal surface(s) of the volute and an external part of the pump rotor contact the corrosive fluid. Surfaces, including that of the pump body surrounding the pump shaft and an external surface of the magnetic rotor, are made of a material resistant to corrosive fluid. The magnetic compensator comprises a magnetic cylinder head (11) fixed in the body of the pump (3) and at least one compensating permanent magnet (17') fixed in the magnetic impeller rotor. At least one internal surface (20) of the volute (2) and an external part (21) of the pump rotor (4) contact the corrosive fluid. These, and further surfaces, including that (2) of the pump body surrounding the pump shaft (6) and an external surface (23) of the magnetic rotor (5) are made of a material resistant to corrosive fluid.
