Double connector (30) comprises a base (32) for contact with a lower card (Ci) and a cover (34) for contact with an upper card (Cs). The cover is mounted so that it pivots with respect to the base between open and closed positions. An intermediate plate (36), for holding the cards, is mounted between the cover and the base and pivots around an articulation axis (Y-Y) which is displaced with respect to the pivot axis (X-X) of the cover on the base.
