Latching device for a hinged shutter (7) comprises a double hook (1) for anchoring a crossbar (10). The device has a shaft (2) comprising, at one end, a square part for fastening a handle (6) and, at the other end, a through-hole for passage and fastening of the crossbar. The double hook is wall-mounted by two screws and two nails, and has a central hole for centering the hook with the shaft. The device includes a plate and a through-tube (3) comprising three holes for fastening on the shutter (7) and a recess for a thrust ring (5) with a pin in order to limit rotation of the shaft (2). A spacer (4) is mounted on the shaft (2) to maintain a distance between the crossbar (10) and the through-tube mounted on the shutter (7). The thrust ring (5) with the pin comprises a square hole for mounting the square part of the shaft (2) between the handle (6) and the plate (3) fastened on the shutter (7). The pin comes to a stop in the trapezoidal recess of the plate (3) reserved for limiting rotation of the shaft (2) and the crossbar (10).
