PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching device capable of operating apparatuses operated on a power supply for a long time. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 is fitted with a fuel battery 12A, a nickel-hydrogen battery 12B, and a lithium coin battery 12C, and includes a power supply switching device 14 for switching the batteries to be used. The power supply switching device 14 comprises a CPU18 for determining which battery should be used, and a power supply control circuit 16 for switching the battery to be used by switching a connection circuit according to the determination of the CPU18.
