PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extract a cylinder liner with easy handling and by a small number of persons. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a supporting pipe 5 fitted to a cylinder head fixing bolt 62, a crosslinking body 7 abutting on the upper end surface of the supporting pipe 5 and laying above a cylinder opening, a pulling up rod 15 passed through the cylinder liner 63 and connected to a jack 11, an engaging ring 20 fixed to the pulling up rod 15 and suspended from a suspender 3 of a crane, a support 25 for supporting the pulling up rod 15 onto the central axis of the cylinder liner 63 and guiding movement, a holder 31 freely swung between a position perpendicular to the pulling up rod 15 and a position approximately parallel to an axial line direction and abutted on the lower end of the cylinder liner by meeting at right angles with the pulling up rod 15, a swinging mechanism section 41 connected to the holder 31 and swinging the holder 31 from the outside of the cylinder liner 63, and a supporting member 47 inserted in a clearance between the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder liner 63 and the bolt 62 and supporting the cylinder liner 63.
