WATER-RESISTANT MILDEWPROOF PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-resistant mildewproof paper having good mildewproof property and water-resistance and used in a field to require water resistance. SOLUTION: The water-resistant mildewproof paper is produced by coating one or both surfaces of a water-resistant base paper with an aqueous dispersion of a mildewproofing agent using an olefin-maleic acid copolymer salt as the dispersing agent for the water-dispersible mildewproof agent or including the aqueous dispersion of the mildewproofing agent in at least one layer of a multi-ply paper. The water resistance of the water-resistant mildewproof paper preferably satisfies a cross-section impregnation of≤200 mg/cm2and a Cobb water-absorption of≤30 g/m2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
