PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high resistance soft magnetic material having sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The soft magnetic material has a composition containing C, Si, and B in a prescribed weight ratio and the balance Fe and has a matrix composed essentially of Fe matrix, and further, the Fe matrix has spheroidal graphite and compact vermicular graphite (CV graphite).
