<p>With a method of producing a tortional damper, in the pressing of an annular rubber in between a hub and an annular mass, undulation of the rubber is prevented from occurring, so that strain durability of a tortional damper is improved. Further, press-in load in the press-in of the annular rubber piece can be significantly reduced, so that axial and radial run-out accuracy of the annular mass with respect to a hub bore portion can be enhanced. In a method of producing a tortional damper where an annular rubber is pressed from axially one direction in between a hub and an annular mass, a silane coupling agent is applied to faces of the hub and the annular mass between which faces the annular rubber is pressed in. The agent is left for drying for a predetermined time period after the application. After the agent is dried, fitting liquid such as lubrication oil or the like is applied to either of the annular mass or the annular rubber. After the application, annular rubber is pressed in between the hub and the annular mass.</p> |
