MULTIPROBE NEUTRON LOGGING DEVICE FOR DETERMINING PETROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF COLLECTOR ROCKS

The proposed multiprobe neutron logging device for determining petrophysical parameters of collector rocks contains a stationary fast neutron source installed in a protecting casing, two slow neutron detectors, two above-thermal neutron detectors, and a computer for recording, processing and storing data. The slow neutron detectors and the above-thermal neutron detectors are arranged at equal distance from the fast neutron source. In neutron detectors, identical neutron counters are used. The present invention provides a possibility to increase labor productivity in geophysical investigations.
