<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording body, which has an enough coloring capability and is excellent in heat resistance and humidity resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This recording body, in which color developing reaction between a colorless or light colored electron donative dye precursor and an electron acceptive developer is utilized, includes a saturated fatty acid monoamide, which is represented by general formula (1): R<SB>0</SB>-CONH<SB>2</SB>, wherein R<SB>0</SB>represents a 11-21C alkyl group, under the condition that the electron acceptive developer includes a (poly)4-hydroxybenzoic acid represented by general formula (2) or a condensation reaction product between a carboxylic acid component including the (poly)4-hydroxybenzoic acid represented by general formula (2) and/or its derivative as essential components and a polyhydric alcohol component including a polyhydric alcohol such as at least a trihydric alcohol represented by general formula (3) as essential components, wherein m in general formula (2) represents an integer of 0 through 2 and n represents an integer of 0 through 9 and R<SB>1</SB>and nR<SB>2</SB>represent independently hydroxy methyl or a 1-8C alkyl group in general formula (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
